Nigel is very keen on the retention of traditional techniques and enjoys allowing members of the general public to see first hand the ornamental ironwork production techniques that are becoming a thing of the past.
He attends many of the local shows and vintage rallies with his mobile blacksmiths forge.

Nigel operates a 1920’s bellows driven mobile coke fired forge and demonstrates the production of things such as fancy scrollwork, barley twists and intricate leaf work.
